CIRCLE/LINE
Heiki Riipinen [no] / 60 minutes

I am placed on my knees in an outside-space, with the spectators placed inside. Dividing us is a window, a piece of glass which let the spectator see me, but still effectively separating us, and marking the difference of our surroundings. On the glass i draw a repetitive pattern of small circles in a line, while I walk on my knees through different kind of materials (bare ground, salt, unboiled rice, small rocks). This leave three visible traces, one is the line on the glass, another in the material, and the last on my knees. When the line is finished i stand in a plastic box with ice and water to my ankles, holding a sign with the text "And then?", marking the end of the linear action.
